Melco Karate/Dog 400 mm
The EMT Name Tape 400 mm Fast Frame is designed for easy and accurate embroidery on dog collars, straps, name tapes and similar narrow items.
How to use the frame
- Loosen the knobs to create enough space for the collar or strap to slide freely underneath the clamps.
- Position the item in the embroidery area. Make sure there is sufficient clearance for the presser foot while the machine is running.
- Tighten the knobs at one end. Pull the collar or strap taut, then tighten the knobs at the opposite end. Use the notches on the clamps to help position each item consistently.
- When embroidering straps or ribbons, the lettering should not exceed approximately 50% of the width of the material. If the lettering is too large, the material may move from side to side during embroidery, which can affect stitch quality and may cause thread nesting.
- Thicker materials, such as karate belts or heavy dog collars, may require additional tension adjustment to hold the item securely.
