Mounting Instructions for Fast Frames

Fast Frames Advance 360 mm 7in1 is quick and easy to attach to your embroidery machine.

Attach the 7-in-1 arm to your machine in the same way as your regular hoops. Make sure the center knob is facing upwards and towards the machine. Secure the arm using the circular and oval holes on the pins of the machine arms.

The center knob and pins are used to attach the Fast Frame you need for your embroidery project.

Before embroidering, run an outline (trace) of your design to make sure it is correctly centered within the frame.

Steps for Mounting

  1. Place the backing under the frame and align it as shown. Cut the backing using the frame as your guide, so it fits the frame correctly.
  2. Turn the frame upside down and remove the protective paper from the adhesive backing. Apply the backing to the frame, allowing it to extend beyond the sides and bottom.
  3. Fold the excess backing over the edge of the frame. This helps hold the garment securely in place.
  4. Run a trace of your design before embroidering. Make sure there is enough clearance so the pressure foot does not pinch the garment against the inner edge of the frame.
  5. Remove the frame from the machine and position it inside the pocket. Smooth the pocket onto the adhesive backing. Reattach the frame to the machine, pulling the pocket open and around the bobbin case. Check underneath the bobbin case to make sure the fabric lies smoothly. Cover any rough screw heads with cellophane tape if necessary.
  6. When finished, gently tear the garment away from the backing. Patch the opening with another piece of backing before continuing.

Fast Frames 7-in-1 is compatible with many different embroidery machines. If you upgrade or change your machine, you will often only need a new exchange arm – allowing you to continue using your existing Fast Frames.
