Large embroidery frame designed for large and heavy embroidery projects.

The Fast Frames Brother Jumbo 305 × 460 mm is a single-piece hoop designed for Amaya embroidery machines. No 7-in-1 exchange arm is required.

With its large embroidery area, the Jumbo Frame is ideal for larger items such as blankets, quilting projects, rugs, jackets, bags and other projects that can be difficult to hoop in a traditional embroidery hoop.

Adhesive backing is attached to the underside of the frame, allowing the item to be positioned directly on top. This makes hooping faster and avoids having to force bulky or difficult materials into a conventional hoop.

For designs that exceed the embroidery area, the item can be repositioned and the remaining part of the design embroidered separately.

How to use the Fast Frame

  1. Place the backing underneath the frame and cut it approximately 1.5 cm wider than the frame on all sides.
  2. Turn the frame upside down and remove the protective paper from the adhesive backing. Apply the backing to the frame, allowing it to extend beyond the sides and bottom. Fold the excess backing over the edge of the frame.
  3. Attach the frame to the embroidery machine. Run a trace of your design to check the position and make sure there is sufficient clearance for the presser foot.
  4. Remove the frame from the machine and position the item on the exposed adhesive backing. Smooth the fabric carefully onto the backing and reattach the frame to the machine.
  5. When embroidery is complete, gently remove the item from the backing. If you wish to continue using the same backing, patch the opening with another piece of adhesive backing.

Tips

  • For long sleeves, lined jackets or other bulky items, clips can be used along the sides of the frame to keep excess fabric securely away from the embroidery area.
  • When embroidering rigid bags, briefcases or similar items, soft supports can be placed inside to help keep the embroidery area flat and accessible.
  • Always make sure excess material is kept clear of the embroidery area and moving machine parts.
